Swedish Beet Growers association, Betodlarna, has been working for Swedish beet growers since 1907. The main task is to develop and defend the Swedish beet cultivation and work in favor for the growers’ financial interests and other conditions. To fulfill our mission we work for example with annual Inter-Professional Agreement (IPA) negotiations with Nordic Sugar, economic policy monitoring and through our research institute Nordic Beet Research, NBR with research and development. NBR is run jointly with Danish beet growers and the sugar industry in Sweden and Denmark.
